Description

Set sail for spiritual harmony with The Tao of Sailing: A Bamboo Way of Life and yield to a smooth course in life. Anyone can gain deep insight into achieving balance with Grigg’s metaphors of the sea and life. Those who love being on a boat in the open waters or even those who do not sail can find inspiration in this work. Like a boat tossed amongst rough seas, the human experience parallels sailing through wind and water.

The Tao of Sailing: A Bamboo Way of Life compares the adventures of an expansive sea to daily life. Author Ray Grigg shows how to navigate life’s challenges and maneuver through conflicts, love, and existence. You will grow to be steady, adaptable, serene, virtuous, and powerful by seeing life as a sailboat. By adapting Taoist principles, you adjust the winds in your sail and overcome adversity to find balance, grace, and harmony.

Those who do not sail can learn to live beautifully within themselves and embrace a wider world. Anyone who does sail will benefit from the knowledge and experience of being on the sea. Just as a boat will match the rhythms and move according to the energy of wind and sea, you too can adapt to life. The Tao of Sailing offers profound insight into a special way of being which is accessible to everyone. Ride the gentle waves as Grigg calmly shows you how to sail your own way through the world.

    Contains Content for Mentally Reenergizing
This book features bamboo illustrated for contemplation and koans for consideration. Different from every other Tao book I’ve seen and enriching because of the gentle breezes of fresh thought that waft through the mind of the beholder.
