Dr. Erin K. Leonard, the author of Emotional Terrorism, received her Ph.D. specializing in children and adolescents from the Institutes of Clinical Social Work, Chicago, IL. Her Masters in Social Work from the Univ. of Michigan. In addition to Emotional Terrorism, she is also the author of Adolescents with HIV. Her professional experience in social work, especially with youth, dates back nearly 20 years. Dr. Leonard also received the Shaw Research Grant in Nursing and Allied Professions. Ann Purcell is the author of the upcoming release: THE TRANSCENDENTAL MEDITATION TECHNIQUE / THE JOURNEY to ENLIGHTENMENT, LET YOUR SOUL SING. She has been a full-time teacher of Transcendental Meditation since 1973, teaching Transcendental Meditation and advanced courses in many countries around the world. In addition, Ann has worked on curricula and course development for universities and continuing education programs. She has a B.SCI (Bachelor of the Science of Creative Intelligence) and an M.SCI from Maharishi European Research University, Seelisberg, Switzerland. Purcell also received a Ph.D. in Supreme Political Science from Maharishi University of World Peace, Vlodrop, Netherlands. She is the author of Tender Flower of Heaven, a collection of 120 poems. She also writes for the Huffington Post.
