Jessica Gates Fredericks
Jessica Gates Fredericks has been a music teacher for over 20 years and knows how to get people moving. She teaches in Florida and is a Director at Rhythm Trek, a company that holds events for companies and classrooms. Through rhythm and movement, Jessica works with music to facilitate team-building activities. In 1999, she founded Bethune Academy Music Outreach which has student musicians visit senior facilities for entertainment and fun. In 2001, Jessica won a $31,000 grant from “VH1’s Save the Music Education Campaign.”
Jessica Fredericks has a special gift for writing content other than grants and authored Music Around the World. She received her B.A. in Music Education from Florida Southern College. Her passion for music and students is evident through the countless awards for her teaching excellence, musical talent, and community involvement. She lives with her family in Winter Haven, FL, where music plays a significant role and keeps things lively.
