Barbara Beyer Malley

Barbara Beyer Malley was a writer, pilot, yachtswoman, golfer, and bridge player. She lived to be 97 and resided in Massachusetts her entire life. Barbara was inspired by her mother, Ernestine Cobern Beyer, to write. She began writing humorous articles in the 1950s in boating magazines. She then became a pilot with her husband and started writing about their adventures in flying magazines.

She authored children’s activity books as well as memoirs and poetry. She loved her family and lived her life to the fullest. Barbara adapted to the digital age and kept a blog, one of her most enjoyable writing experiences. She was blogging well into her 90’s making her truly remarkable.
