Description

Inner Bridges connects the body and mind and explains how energy, a fundamental force in nature, connects us physiologically and spiritually. Dr. Fritz Smith discusses body therapy and explores the connections between Western and Eastern beliefs about health. This hidden energy movement theory incorporates Chinese acupuncture and Hindu yoga. Dr. Smith demonstrates how Western medical research validates ancient Eastern ideas.

Dr. Smith founded the “Zero-Balancing” technique, a body and mind acupressure treatment. Inner Bridges is an invaluable guide for anyone, patients, or practitioners interested in body therapy. Dr. Smith gives tips on how healthcare providers can access the energy through their hands, feel the energy, and then see the response to the energy movements.

You will learn how to bridge Eastern and Western belief systems like connecting yoga to anatomy. Inner Bridges A Guide to Energy Movement and Body Structure unifies the physical and spiritual worlds. Body therapy can help diagnose illnesses, open up communication pathways in treatment, and help one heal. Dr. Smith expands one’s vision of the human body and energy in Inner Bridges and lets you see the connection.

This is not a how-to-do-it book.
It is a book on the deep understanding of the role of energy in our physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies. Anyone dealing with energy work or practices will find this book very useful. Given Dr. Fritz Smith’s background in both western and Chinese medicine, and his understanding of Yoga, this book will give the reader a very objective, balanced and sincere perspective on how energy works in our body.

    Love It!
First off, this was required reading for an Advanced Massage Therapy program I just started. Let me say I love the way Fritz Smith writes, and Zero Balancing is amazing! I really enjoyed this book. For those with any experience in energy work, this is a great read from a very interesting perspective. I highly recommend it to all bodyworkers/massage therapists.

    Wonderful book.
The author very clearly had a “download” from existence. An inductive leap provided him with more than most will ever know – about how the body, mind, and spirit work – and thankfully, he shared his experiences! I personally was delighted by the intersection of classical Chinese acupuncture and the Indian yogic traditions. Wonderful stuff.

    Depth
A further depth to the illusive knowledge of how energy travels in 3 levels of depth in our bodies.
