Description

Minimalism has become a popular lifestyle, which essentially means living with less. This book gives Lao Tzu’s ten principles to achieve organization. The minimalist lifestyle focuses on experiences, necessities, and living with little debt. The Tao of an Uncluttered Life lays down ten fundamental principles applicable to modern life. There is help for anyone feeling overwhelmed with clutter in their living area, mind, or life. If you think you do not have the time to organize or do not know where to start, The Tao of an Uncluttered Life will give you new insight.

The Tao of an Uncluttered Life gives practical organizational tips, examples, and tactics, including lists and audio notes. Most accomplishments begin with lists so you can look at the big picture of what needs to happen, you might begin with paper notes, traditional audio recording, or use smartphone technology. Author Karen Hicks covers organizing office areas, cleaning the home, saving money, and involving others to free up the clutter. Through Taoist philosophies, Hicks offers thoughtful quotes before introducing each principle.

Even if you feel stuck in a rut with life and envision yourself somewhere else, The Tao of an Uncluttered Life helps you start small. The concept to change your life and clear up clutter anywhere begins with knowing what you want and then taking action. You need to start doing it because thinking about it only causes more dismay. By implementing the ten basic principles and common sense, you can begin knocking things off your to-do lists. Hicks shows that you can tackle the clutter in any area of life and stop staying stagnant. Excuses, poor planning, and time management will hinder any progress. Take the ten organization principles, and by using these ideas, you can achieve a minimalist lifestyle.

    Inspiring and Refreshing!
This book tackles the challenge of organization with an approach that is inspiring and refreshing. From the very start, we are encouraged to imagine and visualize what a perfect day would be like using the reporter’s technique of: who? what? when? where? how? What a great idea! For how can we even begin our quest for organization and a balanced life unless we know where we’re headed and what we want when we get there? Another unique illustration for time management is to step back and reevaluate the task on our to do list.

    Someone’s finally done it!
Of all the self-help books currently out there, this masterpiece can eliminate the need to read most of them. Follow this author’s 10 step approach and enjoy many rewarding benefits in not only your professional life but also life in general. If Christ was alive today, he would probably be preaching a gospel more similar to this great book!
