A Must for Anyone in a Leadership Role
I first read this book 20 years ago and my experiences in life have born out its simple truths. Each aspect of wise leadership is laid on one page, which makes it easy to read and refer to, while it speaks volumes about effective leadership. Too often leadership is equated with wielding power, but true leadership is the opposite. It’s about empowering those whom you lead.

Awesome book
A former boss gave this to me as a leadership guide. His advice was to read one chapter a day before work. Really enjoyed it and it helped me tremendously as a leader. Love giving this book to others as a gift. Enjoy.

Best Book on Leadership Ever Written
One of the best management books ever written. This book is a must for any principal, superintendent, CEO, CFO, regional manager, or vice president. Anyone who leads groups or leads others in any field will benefit from the practical wisdom offered by Heider. I’ve loved this book for more than 20 years, and there’s a good reason it’s still in print: timeless truths of management and leadership. One can, you know, really use this information in this book to make almost everything better in your organization or life situations requiring leadership and group dynamics. This is not a book about how to get what you want, but about gently nudging the flow for the benefit of all.

Inscrutable Tao Revealed
This book surprised me by being fairly straightforward for the most part but with a strong mystical element. By that I mean, many of the chapters have an obvious lesson and a not-so-obvious lesson. The modern language used is a relief from the direct translations I have tried before. I was encouraged enough by this translation to be willing to tackle the Tao Te Ching again at some point in the future when I finish the 20 or so other books ahead of it on my bedside table and other locations.
